Our sophomore year I was trying to make a space/future game. Now that I finally bought DarkBASIC Professional, I'm gonna give it another try

THE MAIN CHARACTER
With other games in the past I've had screenshots of the models looking like this but when I've loaded them into the game they don't look as good. This model is what he actually will look like in-game.

The 3d rendering in DarkBASIC Pro is far superior to that of DarkBASIC Classic. DarkBASIC pro loads objects differently then classic does and allows for more better rendering. Classic could load this player object, but it would take forever and he wouldn't have the great texture and hundreds of animations.

I'm not sure of a story line but of what I've come up with thus far is it's in the future but I need more models to be able to come up with more of a story line.

oh boy huh? I'm prolly going to have to change characters though because these ones are 15mb a piece and it takes 45 seconds to load all 4 of them. So testing the game would be terrible so I'm just going to use some other ones that have animations. I'll have screenies later.
